The Würth Elektronik WE-FAS 5G/6G Flexible Absorber Sheet family provides a reliable, application-ready solution for engineers designing wireless communications equipment, antenna systems, and RF-sensitive electronics.

The WE-FAS 5G & 6G range is a self-adhesive, flexible EMI absorber sheet constructed from a special flame-retardant rubber compounded with metal powder.

 

This combination delivers strong magnetic permeability characteristics across the 5G and 6G frequency spectrum, effectively absorbing unwanted electromagnetic energy and preventing it from disrupting sensitive circuitry.

The material comes with a factory-applied single-sided adhesive layer covered by a removable PET release liner, making it clean and straightforward to install in production assemblies.

The range spans eight thicknesses — from 0.5 mm up to 4.0 mm — allowing engineers to select the optimal absorption depth for their specific frequency and space constraints:

Die-Cutting 

Our die-cutting capability is ideal for medium to high volume production runs where a consistent, repeatable shape is required.

 

Die-cut parts are produced with clean, precise edges and are well-suited to automated pick-and-place assembly processes.

The pre-applied adhesive liner is retained during cutting and can be notched or tabbed to facilitate easy peel-and-stick application on the production line.

CNC Knife Table Cutting 

For prototypes, design iterations, low-volume requirements, or complex profiles that would be costly to tool in a die, our CNC knife table offers faster turnaround and great geometric flexibility.
